What is Shan Koe Mee?
Shan Koe Mee is a traditional card game that generations of people in Myanmar have played. Using a standard 52-card deck plus one joker, each player receives 3 cards and competes to see who has the highest score and best card combination.
The name Shan Koe Mee is said to come from a phrase meaning "nines that don't add up to ten." In the game, card values are counted by their remainder when divided by ten, and a score of 9 is considered the top result. When a player scores 9 it is called "Koe Mee," and a score of 8 is called "Shan." These two are the highest hands in the game.
At mmk997 you can not only play Shan Koe Mee online, but also play for real money in a genuine casino setting with a live dealer. Everything — language, payments, and support — is available in Myanmar, designed specifically for players in Myanmar.

Strategies worth considering for Shan Koe Mee
Shan Koe Mee is a game that combines both luck and skill. Even when luck is equal, good strategy can improve a player's long-term returns. Here are tips shared by mmk997 players —
- Set a budget — decide how much you will play with for the week in advance and do not bet beyond that amount.
- Know your tables — learn which tables offer side bets and which do not.
- Adjust your bet size — avoid placing more than 5–10% of your wallet in a single bet.
- Don't be put off by Speed — because decision time is shorter, try a second session on a game you are familiar with.
- Know when to take your winnings — when you have a good hand, deciding to stop and not play the next round is often the smarter move.
